The newborn stage moves quickly.
My Mississauga studio newborn sessions are intentionally calm, slow-paced, and baby-led, with thoughtful guidance from start to finish. Families can arrive with little more than their baby and daily essentials, while parents remain nearby to support and safely spot throughout the session.
Each session is tailored to reflect your growing family and includes access to a carefully curated client closet and a large collection of personally handmade outfits, wraps, and neutral props designed specifically for newborn photography, which keep the focus on connection and timeless imagery.
It's never too late to document your baby. Older newborns are always welcome.
Newborn Sessions are offered in thoughtfully designed collections to accommodate different levels of time, variety, and family involvement.

How is my baby kept safe during the session?
Your baby’s safety and comfort are always my top priority. All posing is done gently and at your baby’s pace. Composites are used for poses that are not safe for baby to be in unsupported (Ex. Froggy Pose).
Where does the session take place?
All newborn sessions take place in my fully equipped studio in Mississauga. In-Home sessions may also be available on a case-by-case basis. Please inquire.
What is the best age for newborn photos?
Newborn sessions are ideally scheduled within the first 2 weeks (around 5-10 days old), when babies are naturally sleepiest and easier to pose, but it's never too late to document your baby! Older newborns are always welcome, with sessions gently adapted to your baby’s age and comfort.
When should we book?
Most families book during the second trimester to ensure availability. Booking during pregnancy is recommended, as only a limited number of newborn sessions are accepted each month. However, many families book their newborn session after giving birth, up until their baby is approximately 12 weeks old.
How do I book with an unknown birth date?
Due dates are only estimates, so your session is tentatively booked for approximately one week after your due date and finalized once your baby arrives. I reserve space around your due date and accept a limited number of newborn sessions each month to allow flexibility.
How long does a newborn session last?
Session lengths vary depending on your selected package, ranging from approximately 60-90 minutes up to 4 hours. Newborn sessions are completely baby-led, allowing time for feeding, soothing, and breaks as needed. Longer sessions allow for greater variety in setups, posing and family images, without feeling rushed.
Do parents and siblings participate?
Packages are available for either baby-only or immediate family participation, depending on your preference. Many families choose to include parents and siblings to capture those early connections together.
What happens after booking?
After booking, you’ll receive your contract and a detailed client guide. We’ll also connect before your session to plan styling and discuss your preferences so your session is fully customized to your family.
What happens after I inquire?
Once you reach out, I’ll send details and availability so you can review everything at your own pace. There’s never any pressure to book. I’m always happy to answer questions and help you decide what feels right for your family.
What should we wear?
Soft neutral tones and textured fabrics photograph beautifully and keep the focus on your baby. A detailed styling guide is provided after booking, and clients are welcome to use pieces from my studio client closet. No need to bring outfits for your baby. Newborns are photographed wrapped or minimally dressed. All outfits, wraps, and props are provided.
What is your privacy policy?
Your privacy is always respected. Images from your session will never be shared publicly without your written permission. Consent is requested separately, and choosing to keep your gallery private will never affect your experience. Even when consent is provided, clients are never tagged or identified online.
What is your cancellation policy?
Retainers are non-refundable but may be transferred if sufficient notice is provided. Full details are outlined in your contract.
Do you sell print products?
All packages currently include high resolution digital images, giving families the flexibility to print and preserve their images however they choose.
