My Mississauga studio and outdoor maternity sessions are designed to feel relaxed and comfortable, with gentle direction throughout so you never have to wonder what to do or how to pose. Sessions move at an easy pace, allowing space for connection while keeping the experience simple and stress-free.
Clients have full access to a thoughtfully curated maternity wardrobe, including handmade gowns and neutral pieces selected to photograph beautifully and keep the focus on you, your changing body, and the anticipation of meeting your baby.
For many families, maternity sessions become the beginning of documenting their story — continuing into newborn and future family sessions as their children grow.

When is the best time for maternity photos?
Maternity sessions are typically scheduled between 28–34 weeks, when your bump is beautifully visible but you’re still comfortable moving and posing. Timing can be adjusted depending on your pregnancy and preferences.
Where does the session take place?
Maternity sessions may take place in my Mississauga studio or outdoors at a carefully selected location. Location options are discussed during planning to best match your vision.
When should I book?
Most clients book their maternity session during the second trimester to ensure availability, especially for seasonal outdoor sessions.
Do I need to know how to pose?
No experience is needed. I provide gentle guidance throughout your session to create natural, flattering posing for you and your family.
I am feeling unsure about being photographed - is that normal?
Many mothers feel unsure about being photographed during pregnancy - this is completely normal. My approach focuses on flattering angles, soft posing, and natural movement so you feel comfortable and confident throughout your session.
What should I wear?
Soft neutral tones and flowing fabrics photograph beautifully and highlight your growing bump. Clients are welcome to use pieces from my studio maternity closet, including several maternity gowns that were uniquely designed and handmade by me! Detailed styling guidance is provided after booking.
How long does a maternity session last?
Session lengths vary depending on your selected package, ranging from 1 to 2 hours. Longer sessions allow for greater variety in outfit changes, posing and family images, without feeling rushed.
Can my partner or children participate?
Packages are available for either parents only or family participation, depending on your preference. Many parents choose to include their children to document this chapter of your story.
Can I suggest ideas or bring meaningful items?
You’re welcome to share ideas or bring meaningful items. I’m always happy to incorporate small personal touches while keeping the overall look cohesive with your session style.
What happens after booking?
After booking, you’ll receive your contract and a detailed client guide. We’ll connect before your session to plan styling, location, and overall vision so your session feels personalized and relaxed.
What happens if the weather is poor? (Outdoor Sessions)
If weather conditions are unsuitable, sessions may be rescheduled or moved indoors when possible.
What happens if my baby arrives early?
If your baby arrives before your maternity session, any amount paid may be applied toward a newborn or future session within one year.
Do you offer newborn photography?
Yes - most of my maternity clients choose to return for newborn sessions so their images feel connected across this season of life. Newborn sessions are typically reserved during pregnancy to ensure availability.
Can maternity and newborn sessions be styled similarly?
Absolutely. Many families choose cohesive styling between maternity and newborn sessions to create a beautifully connected gallery documenting this chapter from pregnancy through baby’s arrival.
When should we reserve a newborn session?
Newborn sessions are best reserved during pregnancy, as only a limited number are accepted each month. Your newborn session can be tentatively scheduled using your due date and finalized once your baby arrives.
What happens after I inquire?
Once you reach out, I’ll send details and availability for you to review at your own pace. There’s never any pressure to book — I’m happy to answer questions and help you decide what feels right for your family.
What is your privacy policy?
Your privacy is always respected. Images from your session will never be shared publicly without your written permission. Consent is requested separately, and choosing to keep your gallery private will never affect your experience. Even when consent is provided, clients are never tagged or identified online.
What is your cancellation policy?
Retainers are non-refundable but may be transferred if sufficient notice is provided. Full details are outlined in your contract.
Do you sell print products?
All packages currently include high resolution digital images, giving families the flexibility to print and preserve their images however they choose.
